Call for Applications | Participate in two neurodevelopmental research events in Paris

About 

The Transforming Autism Care Consortium and the Canadian Neurodevelopmental Research Training Platform, in collaboration with GIS Autisme et TND, are offering one graduate student or postdoctoral fellow the opportunity to participate in two events taking place in Paris, France:

  • 3rd Young Researchers Mentoring Afternoon – October 13, 2026
  • 7th Annual GIS Autisme et TND Conference, co-organized with ARAPI – October 14, 2026


This year’s conference theme is “What is the future of research on neurodevelopmental conditions by 2030?”

This joint opportunity is intended to support international exchange, networking, and engagement with researchers working across neurodevelopmental research and related fields.

Funding 

The selected applicant will receive financial support for:

  • Round-trip airfare from Montreal to Paris
  • Accommodation for the duration of the two events
  • Meals during the conference days
  • Option for additional nights (with proof of a scheduled training activity or lab visit organized by the participant)


Eligibility 

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled at a Canadian university (Master’s, PhD, or postdoctoral level)
  • Conduct research related to neurodevelopmental conditions, with a demonstrated interest in experimental modeling 
  • Be a CanNRT Trainee Member – Click here to join
  • Have a functional understanding of French, as both events will take place in French

Submit a single PDF file including:

  • A letter of interest (max. 1 page) – Describe your background, and explain how your research aligns with the conference theme
  • A curriculum vitae following the format of the Tri-Council Agencies
  • A letter of support from your supervisor (max. 1 page)
