We are pleased to share that two members of our network have been honoured for their outstanding contributions: advancing knowledge and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities and autism, and expanding the frontiers of neuroscience.
Diane Morin, PhD, Professor in the Department of Psychology at Université du Québec à Montréal and researcher at the Institut universitaire en déficience intellectuelle et en trouble du spectre de l’autisme (Chaire DITC), will be appointed Chevalière of the Ordre national du Québec for her decades of leadership advancing inclusion, training, and research in intellectual disability and autism. The induction ceremony will take place on June 18, 2025, at the Assemblée nationale du Québec.

Alan Evans, PhD, James McGill Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Biomedical Engineering at McGill University and researcher at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital), has been named a recipient of the Order of Canada, one of the country’s highest civilian honours, for his pioneering work in neuroimaging and neuroinformatics that continues to drive progress in brain research.
