TACC Research Forums: TACC trainee Arjun A. Bhaskaran wins the Audience’s Choice Award at the Pre-INSAR Blitz
On April 21st, 2021, TACC held its annual Pre-INSAR Blitz. Each year, in preparation for the Annual Meeting organized by the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR), TACC invites its student members to present their research to the broader network. This year, a group of 30 TACC researchers, students, donor representatives and QART trainees attended the short presentations, moderated by QART Trainees and Student Representatives Anjie Ni (Cohort 3) and Samantha Wong (Cohort 2). The 2021 presenters were Dr. Arjun A. Bhaskaran, Athanasios Markopoulos, Dr. Jeffrey McCrossin (QART Trainee), and Dr. Myriam Beauchamp (QART Trainee). New this year was the “Presenter’s Choice Award”. Attendees voted for the trainee with the best overall presentation, which came with a prize of $100 CAD. We wish to congratulate this year’s winner, Dr. Arjun A. Bhaskaran, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at McGill University.
