Dans cet atelier, nous discuterons des fa\u00e7ons de rejoindre diff\u00e9rents publics en ligne, notamment l\u2019industrie, les pairs et les journalistes. Vous apprendrez quels outils et plateformes professionnels sont \u00e0 votre disposition en tant que chercheur\u00b7e\u00b7s, ainsi que leurs forces et leurs limites. Elle r\u00e9dige \u00e9galement des scripts pour des cha\u00eenes YouTube populaires comme SciShow, o\u00f9 ses vid\u00e9os atteignent un public de plus de 8 millions de personnes. Au sein du\u00a0<em>McGill Writing Centre<\/em>, elle enseigne les comp\u00e9tences en communication \u00e9crite par le biais d\u2019ateliers comme celui-ci et du cours WCOM314 \u00ab Communicating Science \u00bb. Avant de devenir journaliste \u00e0 temps plein, elle a obtenu son doctorat en zoologie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Massey en Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande et a effectu\u00e9 un stage postdoctoral \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de l\u2019Alberta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yvonne Hung, Ph. D.<\/strong>\u00a0est directrice du\u00a0<em>McGill Writing Centre<\/em>, la principale ressource de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill en communication \u00e9crite. \u00c0 ce titre, elle supervise les cours offerts aux cycles sup\u00e9rieurs et au premier cycle, le programme\u00a0<em>Graphos<\/em>\u00a0destin\u00e9 aux \u00e9tudiants et \u00e9tudiantes des cycles sup\u00e9rieurs et aux stagiaires postdoctoraux, ainsi que le service de tutorat qui offre des consultations individuelles en r\u00e9daction. Elle coordonne \u00e9galement divers projets sp\u00e9ciaux, dont une collaboration \u00ab Writing for Publication \u00bb avec l\u2019\u00c9cole des sciences infirmi\u00e8res Ingram. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 membre du comit\u00e9 consultatif du programme FRAQ, o\u00f9 elle a contribu\u00e9 avec enthousiasme \u00e0 soutenir son mandat de formation.
