What's covered:

Continuing education opportunities for professionals diagnosing autism are limited. This workshop helps fill these gaps by focusing on:

  1. Developing skills in autism diagnostic practices for children ages 0 to 12 years, including administration and coding of the

Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - Second Edition

    (ADOS-2).

  2. Improving knowledge of differential diagnosis and co-occurring conditions for autism in children ages 0 to 12 years.

  3. Exploring appropriate recommendations for children diagnosed with autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions.

Who should attend:

  • Professionals who have completed the ADOS-2 Introductory Online Workshop through The Neuro and McGill University within the past 2 years.

  • Professionals from the public system in Quebec who are currently involved in making autism diagnoses for children aged 0-12 years.

What to expect:

  1. Expert lecturers: Each session features a specialist from our Hub Team discussing key topics in neurodevelopmental assessment.

  2. Case studies: Participants present real-life case studies from their practices, providing practical insights and learning opportunities.

  3. Group discussions: Open discussions follow the case presentations, allowing participants to share insights, ask questions, and engage with experts and peers.

Why participate: Connect with other professionals, engage in collaborative learning through case discussions, and stay informed about best practices in autism diagnoses from a diverse team of experts.
