Call for Abstracts for the Pre-SfN Blitz
Deadline: September 30th, 2021 at 5:00pm
ATTENTION TRAINEES – YOU ARE INVITED TO PRESENT YOUR RESEARCH PROJECT AT THE TACC RESEARCH FORUM IN OCTOBER
Are you planning to present a poster or oral at a conference this fall? Would you like to share and discuss your work with others? Would you like to practice your oral presentation skills?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then here is a great opportunity for you:
This October, the TACC Research Forum will once again feature its trainee members during the Pre-SfN Blitz. This event will give the network’s graduate students and postdoctoral fellows the opportunity to showcase their research projects to the TACC community, and, in return, for the community to come support the autism researchers of tomorrow, ask them questions and give them feedback.
Date of Forum: October 27, 2021
Time: 4-5 pm (EDT)
Location: Online via zoom
Abstract submission deadline: September 30, 2021 at 5 pm
Notice of decision: October 8, 2021
Each presenter will have approximately 5 minutes to present their work, which will be followed by a short Q & A period.
Audience’s Choice Award
Attendees will be asked to vote for their favourite presentation and a prize will be awarded to the presenter with the most votes.
TACC trainee members interested in presenting their research project are invited to fill out the abstract submission form. Please note that it is not necessary to have an accepted abstract for an upcoming conference, SfN or otherwise, to present at this forum. Anyone interested in sharing his or her work is encouraged to submit an abstract. Spots are limited.
